The Greatest Deterrent, a Guilty Conscience

It is very difficult to manifest in the kingdom of heaven with a guilty conscience or a heavy conscience. A heavy conscience usually means that when your conscience is bothering you, you have done something unpardonable to someone else: You have undermined them, betrayed them, talked falsely about them, used them, or you have abused them. Abuse does not come at the tip of a sword, a cat-o'-nine-tails, a short-sword, battle-ax, saber, cannon, or nuclear warhead. Abuse can be a very subtle weapon in hurting someone else. You cannot do this work in a heavy conscience. When your conscience is bothering you, it will be the greatest deterrent for the Great Work because it means that your soul is alarmed at your behavior and your soul knows that you have gone off track. This pain or aching in the soul, in your chest where it belongs, sends messages up through the lower cerebellum, the subconscious. They start coming out in your dreams because that is when the subconscious has an opportunity to heal the body but also heals the soul. It gives you dreams and portents that are endeavoring to reflect to you the error of your ways. People have trouble sleeping because they are troubled by their dreams. During the day most people suppress a conscience that bothers them, cover it up, and use the term self-lack, self-worth. That is how it is transformed in the neocortex, that you don't feel worthy enough to do the work. The feeling of self-worthiness and the lack thereof is really an intellectual arrangement of the soul's warning, an alarm system that you have betrayed, undermined, or otherwise been harmful to someone else. You justify that indirectly in the conscious mind — never directly — and the warning signs are indirectly the lack of self-confidence and self-worth, which then deter the focus. The focus never really goes to an analogical state because there is a sense in you that you are not worthy of it.

I want to tell you something: God is love. God is a giver, not a taker. When we take from the dignity and the esteem of others, we are not godlike. When we undermine the stability, the fruitfulness, the beauty, the kindness, the overall wholeness of another individual, we are not acting as God; we are acting as wretched creatures. The wretchedness of our being then is what prevents us from manifesting the kingdom of heaven. This is where we find the key to long-term depression. The entity somewhere along the way has been injurious to another entity, has suppressed it, and has formed itself as the lack of self-esteem in human consciousness. That is why they never feel they ever deserve joy or happiness because they are denying themselves a simple confession of what they dare not say that they have done for the sake of pride. Pride is such a very powerful creature that it can keep you from the kingdom of heaven.
